I went to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on Tuesday. I was literally freaking out and screaming “She’s here!!! Omg there is Patti!!!” as soon as I saw her red hair on stage. The show started and I was so excited and singing along (I felt a little bad for the people around me because I can’t really sing, but it was fun anyway). I loved ‘Easy Money’ and their little duets and their dancing near the end of the show. Patti and Bruce are really cute (:. I shot a couple of people some deadly glares and rolled my eyes, typical Patti-haters.
After the concert I wanted to see if I could get Patti to sign my ‘Play it as it lays’. My dad was sure that they had left already, but I knew they had not so we found the exit (there were about 10 people waiting for him) and around midnight they were leaving. They were driving past us, Bruce waved and I saw Patti, but they didn’t stop. On the way back to our car I talked to some people and they told me were I should go in New York City in case Bruce wouldn’t stop on Wednesday. They also made some suggestions what I could try to get an autograph (thanks!).
So yesterday (the next and last night in Jersey) I stood outside the Izod for 2 hours it was freezing and windy and I had a sign (since they didn’t stop yesterday) so Bruce stopped today and I was like “Give that to Patti to sign it please” before anybody else had a chance to say something. He didn’t even get a “Hi Bruce” from me. So he went like “Look Patti we got something for you to sign” “how lovely” and she signed it and Bruce gave it back and everybody was bothering him and I wanted a picture with Patti so I was going to go on her side but security wanted it cleared so I kind of jumped infront of the window on Bruce side (she was sitting in the back, he in the front) and I was waving my sign and going like “Put the window down” so at some point she did and came on my side and I asked her for a picture and she was like “Yeah sure but my hair is a mess”. lol did she see me after 2 hours outside?! so I said something like “I don’t care I look like a mess too” (and I really look like a mess, she didn’t!!!). Since I didn’t really “care” about her husband at that moment and everybody wanted to talk to him she was “mine” for like 30sec ♥.
A girls gotta set her priorities.
